You can't go past the Gold Bomber for a Barra fly. Tied with a variety of Gold flash, Polar Flash and Krystal Gold flash with 3D eyes and a Black Bucktail wing, this fly caught plenty of barra and GT's recently in The Saltwater Challenge in Darwin, NT. All the bombers were tied 8cms long on 2/0 and 1/0 Mustad Z steel Saltwater fly hooks.
